Optical Guy grew up seeing two versions of every room. In one, the parents stayed. In the other, their chairs faced the wall. Adults called this poor eyesight. The child called it knowing too much before breakfast.
Drawing was supposed to straighten things out. Instead, each line revealed a third version. In that one, the house was looking back. The first finished picture cried through the paper and ruined the tablecloth.
Now the tears keep the world soft enough to bear. Optical Guy still draws, because a crooked line at least admits what it is doing. Ask which version is real. Watch how carefully the answer avoids the word home.
