Childhood. A wrong turn. Something that stayed.
Fictional memories from the B2BW universe.
On a distant planet, a lollipop passed through six generations without becoming smaller. Candyman inherited it as a child. The family celebrated quietly. Nobody would say what happened to the previous owner, or why the photograph had no face.
Candyman learned to taste without a mouth. The trick was to remember the flavour so precisely that the teeth forgot the missing entrance. At the first successful bite, every clock in the house ran sticky.
Now the lollipop travels between galaxies. Candyman calls it an heirloom. Sometimes there is a new fingerprint inside the sugar. The candy never gets smaller. The family portrait, folded in a pocket, has less space around the edges.
